"The Prophet's Methods of Winning the Hearts of People" Conference
The conference organized by Bartın University (BARÜ) Human Values and Civilizations Club was held on 21.10.2022 at the Kutlubey Campus Education Faculty Conference Hall. The conference attracted great attention. BARÜ Rector Prof. Orhan Uzun, Vice Rector Prof. Sedat Yazıcı, General Secretary Assoc. Dr. Said Ceyhan, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Prof. Erol Kırdar, Bartın Provincial Mufti Ömer Keskin, academics, students and many people attended.
Referring to the discussions in the field of religion in the Islamic world, Yıldırım said, “The reflections of the discussions, especially on social life, often fall between extremes and leniencies. For some people, the information contained in the Arabic written classics is absolute truth. For some of them who can be considered close to these people, some of the works that the Ummah rightfully values are almost sacred and not the slightest criticism can be directed towards them. "Taking such a path will damage the faith of Ahl al-Sunnah and will continue and cause destruction in the following stages," he said.
