"Being An Effective Teacher" Conference

A seminar on being an effective teacher was given by Mr. Mehmet Fatih VARGELOĞLU Karabük Provincial Director of Education on 09.03.2020 at 11:00 a.m. The program which was organized by the Turkish Islamic Civilization Research Club started with the Quran recitation by Hasan KARDAŞ. After that Bartın University Faculty of Islamic Sciences Dean Ms. Azize TOPER KAYGIN continued with her speech.

Mr. Vargeloğlu gave information about who is a teacher, his basic responsibilities, and forms of the relationship between a teacher and a student. He emphasized that being a teacher and teaching are different phenomena.

He emphasized that in order to be a good teacher the teacher should be aware of the conditions of the age and also the peculiarities of the geography.

He talked about the views of people such as Mahmud Celalettin Ökten, Mevlânâ Celaleddin-i Rûmî and Nurettin Topçu about teaching.

The program ended with the ceremony of appreciation after Q&A section.
